Unicchem – INDO 1100 is a specialized cleaning chemical designed for copper coils in air conditioning systems. These systems have two types of coils: condenser coils and evaporator coils, typically made from copper tubes with aluminum fins. The evaporator coil (indoor coil) is responsible for cooling the indoor air by absorbing heat as air passes over it.

Coil Flush Method:

The coil-flushing method is a critical maintenance procedure used to clean the internal parts of the coils by dissolving and removing contaminants such as:

- Hard carbon deposits: Formed due to heat from compressor burnout.
- Mineral oil: Residuals that could clog the system.
- Acid: Potentially harmful elements inside the coils.

Steps in the Coil Flush Method:

Circulation: The flushing agent circulates through the coil, loosening and dissolving hard carbon deposits, oil, and acids.
Nitrogen Purge: After circulation, dry nitrogen is used to blow out the chemical, removing acid, oil, and liquefied carbon.
Flushing Duration: It is essential to fill the coils completely with the flush solution for at least 20 minutes to ensure the scrubbing action liquefies and removes all deposits.

To facilitate this cleaning process, a motorized chemical/acid/oil pump is required to circulate the non-pressurized flushing liquid through the system.
